I am selling a Sperry/Honeywell vertical gyro unit Serial #7011804. This unit has a FAA 8130-3 Authorized Release Certificate - Airworthiness Approval Tag with Status as "Overhauled" and approved for return to service. Certificate dated 22 Feb, 2007. Please see attached photo of the FAA 8130-3 certificate.

I also have the work order that sates the following:

Teardown Report

1) Preliminary Inspection: Unit received in fair condition. P/N and S/N verified
2) Disassembly Inspection: Normal wear
3) Pre Test: Failed
4) Hidden damage: "Found"
5) Teardown Findings: "Opened unit for visual inspection, it reveals the following....Swing checked suspensions bearings, suspensions bearings ball dented. Slip rings and brush blocks assemblies contaminated and require cleaning. Unit overhauled per customers request".

Corrective Action

1) "This unit was disassembled, cleaned, inspected, repaired as necessary, reassembled and functionally tested I/A/W the ATA: 22-50 MFG Specs. The Unit was overhauled".

Certification 

Final test results - "Passed"
Service Performed - "Overhauled"

Maintenance Release Record

The component identified above was overhauled in accordance with the current regulations of the FDA and is approved for return to service. Other pertinent details of the repair are on file at this repair station. (Station was: High Tech Avionics & Accessories).

Chairman Osamu Suzuki on Monday said he plans to end his carmaker's turbulent two-year capital alliance with Volkswagen AG, citing concerns about independence and a dearth of technological exchanges and joint projects from the tie up. The spry, 81-year-old Suzuki executive compared the breakup to a divorce and said the two companies should "say goodbye with a smile" instead of trading bitter accusations.
