I am selling a Sperry/Honeywell vertical gyro unit Serial #7011804. This unit has a FAA 8130-3 Authorized Release Certificate - Airworthiness Approval Tag with Status as "Overhauled" and approved for return to service. Certificate dated 22 Feb, 2007. Please see attached photo of the FAA 8130-3 certificate.

I also have the work order that sates the following:

Teardown Report

1) Preliminary Inspection: Unit received in fair condition. P/N and S/N verified
2) Disassembly Inspection: Normal wear
3) Pre Test: Failed
4) Hidden damage: "Found"
5) Teardown Findings: "Opened unit for visual inspection, it reveals the following....Swing checked suspensions bearings, suspensions bearings ball dented. Slip rings and brush blocks assemblies contaminated and require cleaning. Unit overhauled per customers request".

Corrective Action

1) "This unit was disassembled, cleaned, inspected, repaired as necessary, reassembled and functionally tested I/A/W the ATA: 22-50 MFG Specs. The Unit was overhauled".

Certification

Lincoln gets own design studio

Ford is creating a dedicated design studio for its luxury brand Lincoln in an ongoing bid to rejuvenate the brand and position it further apart from the core Ford offering. The new design studio will be situated in the Product Development Center in Dearborn, Michigan, with Max Wolff – recruited from Cadillac last year – charged with leading the brand in its revival efforts. Ford has also announced that it will be increasing spending on the brand, giving it unique interiors and powertrains.
