Toyota unveiled the fifth-generation 4Runner at the 2009 LA Auto Show. The new design embraces its robust SUV identity more than its immediate predecessors, which also distinguishes it from the similarly sized but more urban Toyota Highlander sibling. Giugiaro honored in Korean ceremony

Giorgetto Giugiaro has received honors from the South Korean Government for his contribution to the nation's fledgling automotive industry.  In a ceremony in Seoul, Giugiaro received the prestigious 'Order of Merit' from the President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Myung-bak. The relationship between Italdesign Giugiaro and Korea stretches back to the 1970s, a period of significant growth for the Korean nation, stifled only by its lackluster automotive industry.  It fell to the Italian designer to invigorate an industry that survived on reassembling and rebranding foreign domestic models. Giugiaro's solution was the simple Hyundai Pony.

The Audi TT-RS Coupe and Roadster – Official Audi images this time First the teaser images of the TT-RS from Audi themselves, then some moody black and whites which seemed to be a leak, and now the official Audi images that seem to indicate that the moody B&Ws were in fact poor scans of these. Oh well, the only thing we’ve wasted is a finger on each hand bashing this out for your delight. So here they are – images of the Audi TT-RS – due to launch in just a week or so’s time at Geneva 2009.
