SPIN-MP-2500 Series - Billet Aluminum Mechanical Fuel Pumps. In existence for nearly 2 years, the SPIN-MP-2500 Series has received wholesale acceptance by NASCAR engine builders and was designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for conventional mechanical pumps. A 6061-T6 billet aluminum, CNC-machined housing provides increased impact resistance for race teams in the oval track market. Internal flow has been greatly improved over Stock-Style Valving, while Steel )-Ring AN fittings help ensure secure hose connections. Another benefit of this product is the entire pump can be rebuilt for longer service life. Tech Notes: |

GM may extend Saab deadline, report says
Tue, 29 Dec 2009General Motors is prepared to wait beyond the end of this week before deciding on the future of Saab as it reviews remaining bids, Bloomberg News reported. The news agency quoted Saab board member Paul Aakerlund as saying that if there is a bid that GM finds sufficiently interesting, then GM's Dec. 31 decision to wind down its Swedish unit "is not a date that's holy.” Aakerlund said GM told Saab last week that it would wind down Saab and simultaneously continue talks with bidders about a sale, said Aakerlund, who also heads the IF Metall union at Saab.

Nissan creates 'scent of the future'
Wed, 18 Dec 2013NISSAN has created what it calls ‘the scent of the future’, representing what Planet Earth might smell like in an imagined world where everyone drove zero-emissions vehicles. By teaming up with master perfumer and Aroma Academy Scientist Dr George Dodd, the firm has created its ‘aromatic blueprint’ for the future. Dodd, reportedly inspired by long walks in the Scottish Highlands, has created an in-car fragrance that he says is proven to inspire ‘a positive sense of well-being’ in people who smell it.
