SPL PRO Solid subframe conversion bushings are designed to allow S14/S15 subframes to be mounted on the S13 Silvia/180SX chassis or vice-versa. Our SPL solid bushings prevent the subframe from "bouncing around" under drivetrain torque or suspension load, maintaining optimum suspension geometry and reducing wheel hop. Our slide-in shim system allows you to quickly raise or lower the subframe to fine-tune the roll center/anti-squat behavior to your preference. Raising the subframe will compensate roll center for a lowered car at the expense of increasing anti-squat. Lowering the subframe will decrease anti-squat at the expense of roll center. SPL PRO series bushings are precision CNC machined from billet aluminum for excellent fit. EV maker Coda trims staff
Wed, 12 Dec 2012Not much more could go wrong for electric-car maker Coda, which has struggled to sell its four-door EV in the United States since officially launching it here in March. But Web reports, first seen at www.plugincars.com, say the company laid off 50 employees, or 15 percent of its workforce, last week, mostly in the sales and marketing departments. Efforts by Autoweek to contact Coda have not been successful.

And the latest indication of that new direction is the very warm super saloon that is the Lexus LS TMG Edition, spotted lurking in a garage near the Nurburgring in between runs round the ‘Ring. The LS TMG Edition apparently sports a 5.0 litre V8 with 641bhp and 524lb/ft of torque, which will be enough to hit a 4.0 second 0-60mph and a top speed of around 200mph.
