This auction is for a 82-92 Camaro/Firebird Spohn Transmission Crossmember 700R4 & T-5 SP-700XM BLACK in color. Picture is of a red one but you will recieve a BLACK one!

Transmission crossmember for the installation of a 700R4 automatic or a T-5 five speed transmission into a 1982-1992 F-Body. Crossmember is made of sturdy mild steel construction and utilizes the OEM sub-frame mounting holes to allow for an easy direct bolt-in installation. Available with an NHRA approved driveshaft safety loop built onto the crossmember.

This is the crossmember only for those who will re-install the OEM torque arm.

Note: This crossmember will also work in any 1982-1992 F-Body with a 700R4 or T-5 transmission.

The McLaren F1 LM Prototype is heading for display at the Geneva Motor Show as McLaren try to out do Ferrari in the history stakes. McLaren are taking the prototype for the F1 LM – the McLaren XP1 LM – to Geneva for its first ever trip outside the UK (it’s owned by McLaren and was promised to Lewis Hamilton if he won three F1 world championships with McLaren. He didn’t) and will have it on show as part of McLaren’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

Study links low-speed collision-avoidance system to fewer accidents

A study of the Volvo XC60's low accident rate offers evidence that collision avoidance systems can improve vehicle safety. The XC60, which has a low-speed collision avoidance system dubbed City Safety, was involved in 27 percent fewer property damage accidents than other mid-sized luxury SUVs, according to a report released Tuesday by the Highway Loss Data Institute. The XC60 also was involved in 51 percent fewer bodily injury accidents.

Mitsubishi upgrades the Outlander Sport

The base version of the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will cost $19,470, not including destination. The Japanese company is touting the SUV as being American made due to its birthplace in the funnily named Normal, Illinois. All-wheel-drive models start at $22,070.
