Fiat Panda 100HP Review & Road Test (2010) Part 2
Mon, 13 Sep 2010The Fiat Panda 100 HP Road Test If you’re going to judge a book by its cover, then the Fiat Panda 100hp is shouting all the things I like in a car from the rooftops. But shouting about your abilities just isn’t my cup of tea – far better to speak softly and carry a big stick. Mon, 28 Oct 2013Bob Lutz is not a man who can be contained within 140 characters. This past weekend he spoke at the Petersen as part of the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, hosted by friend of Autoweek George Notaras (past events have been with Ralph Gilles and Derek Jenkins). Lutz talked at length about his childhood in Switzerland, early memories working for Ford and Chrysler, the time he swayed BMW management away from building Mercedes-like luxoboats, and what Lee Iacocca was really like behind closed doors.
Auctioned Ferrari Dinos fetch more than £380,000
Mon, 26 May 2014TWO FERRARI Dino cars have sold for a combined £383,000 during the same auction, despite one of them needing significant restoration. The model has in recent years become a golden goose for any owners lucky enough to have acquired one years ago, and the latest Silverstone Auctions sale shows what a cash cow even poor condition examples have become. A recently-restored 1971 Dino topped £250,000 inclusive of its buyer's premium, while the rusting form of a 1973 version still brought about a £132,500 sale.
