Renault Twingo Renaultsport (2008): first official pictures

By Tom Clarkson First Official Pictures 31 January 2008 18:17 Renault today unveiled its new 133bhp Twingo RS in Paris - with a little help from F1 stars Fernando Alonso and Nelson Piquet Jnr, who were in town for the launch of their R28 F1 car. The Twingo RS has a naturally aspirated 1.6-litre engine that produces 20bhp more than the 1.2-litre turbo of the Twingo GT. There are cosmetic differences between the two cars as well, such as extended front and rear wings, a rear spoiler and a lower front bumper on the RS.

Webinars: Technical Surfacing from Autodesk

Autodesk's Technical Surfacing webinar, presented by Uwe Rossbacher, Product Manager for NURBS Modeling/Technical Surfacing at the Manufacturing Solutions Division of Autodesk, was presented on September 21, 2010. The webinar was an introduction to professional NURBS* surfacing and a demonstration of how to evaluate surfaces and users' own level of surfacing expertise. Entries open for Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition

Entries can now be submitted to the interactive design competition from  Opel/Vauxhall, in partnership with CDN, which asks students: "What do you think is our lounge style?"  Students are invited to upload their entries to the competition website www.cardesigncontest.com, where they can be viewed and commented upon by the design community as well as other students. CDN and Opel/Vauxhall is encouraging entrants to start uploading material from day one to increase their changes of getting useful feedback on their entries. The competition judges, as well as the design community and other students, will be looking at your research imagery and mood boards, sketches, renderings and video – whatever you feel best represents your vision.
