Sporty Low Profile Wind Screen (aka Slipscreen) for 2005-2012 R1200GS & GSA 2006-2013 by MachineartMoto
The Sport Slipscreen is designed for riders who prefer avoiding the wind noise and buffeting sometimes caused by the stock GS & GSA wind screens. The Slipscreen is a great summer or warm weather screen for riders that prefer to feel the airflow when riding. It is also ideal for off-road riding. The Slipscreen does not obstruct your field of vision and is not easily damaged in an off-road fall like the stock wind screens.
The Slipscreen is the sleek, minimal solution that is short enough not to upset air flow at helmet level reducing noise, while creating a pocket of still air up to chest level for comfort. Made in 4mm high impact ABS, it is finished in satin black metallic, and mounts with the stock hardware to retain angle adjustability.
* ELIMINATES BUFFETING
* SLEEK STYLING
* USES STOCK HARDWARE

Citroën designers: Design students have 'golden opportunity'
Fri, 25 Jan 2013Today's car design students "have got a fantastic opportunity in a very different world," say Citroën designers. Though the automotive industry has been suffering in many regions in the current economic climate, the next generation of car designers "have got a fantastic opportunity," says Andrew Cowell, Senior Design Manager at Citroën, in conversation with Car Design News at the Royal College of Art, London. "The industry will evolve quite a lot, and these guys (the students on the postgraduate Vehicle Design course) will come out into a very different world." "They'll start in a very interesting period", says Alexandre Malval, Citroën Design Director and himself a graduate from the RCA course.
