MY STORY:  One Mans Junk is just that!!  I set this ebay page up to be able to sell of many of the items that I've accumulated over the years.  I guess you could say that I'm a little bit of a pack rat.  But now it is time to start selling it all off.  I list all the information that I can for each item and answer all questions in a timely manner.  Make sure you take a look at all my auctions as they will be changing weekly.  Also, save me as one of your favorites so that you don't miss out!!  My auctions will range from just about anything a man (or woman) could want, but I'll guarantee that you won't find any cook books for sale here!!

SHIPPING:  I try to use USPS flat rate shipping boxes as much as I can to help save a few dollars and keep the shipping costs reasonable for all.  If the items are too large to fit in a flat rate box, I will use USPS parcel post.  In these cases I set a flat shipping cost up front and hopefully it is fair for both of us.  I will not come back to you and ask for more shipping and I don't use the worthless shipping calculator that ebay offers (I find it to be off and does not favor the buyer at all).

FEEDBACK:  Please leave positive feedback, as I always do!!  If you happen to have a problem, please communicate.  Nothing worse than selling something and have no idea that a person is having a problem.  In almost all cases, I'd be happy to refund your money or work out some other reasonable remedy.

Record expected for Auto Union sale

Wed, 07 Feb 2007

By James Mullan Motor Industry 07 February 2007 09:21 A rare 1939 Auto Union Type D grand prix car is tipped to tear up the record books this month when it goes under the hammer – for an estimated price of up to £7.8 million. Auto Union developed the Type D racing car with a mid-mounted 3.0-litre 12-cylinder engine; in 1939, it was modified with the addition of a twin supercharger, increasing power 420bhp to 460bhp – enough for a top speed of 205mph. This particular car won the French and Yugoslavian Grand Prix in 1939, but at the end of the Second World War it was transported from East Germany to the former Soviet Union by Russian occupation forces as spoils of war.

Lexus LS: Still loves a Champagne glass

Sun, 20 Mar 2011

Lexus LS - Still loves a Champagne Glass Back when Lexus was born as the posh Toyota, Toyota’s advertising bods had to convince the American public that Lexus was more than just a big Toyota – with an even bigger price tag. The pitch was that this new Lexus LS would give you highway smooth – just like a big, lazy ‘Mercan V8 – and brilliant build quality, and all for less than a Mercedes S Class. Which was the target.
