BMW i8 to cost from £99,895

BMW has revealed its new i8 petrol-electric range-extender supercar will cost from £99,895 – and dealers are already taking pre-orders for the 155mph, 113mpg coupe. The high-performance i8 will be the second BMW i car to go on sale, following the launch of the i3 electric city car which goes on sale in BMW dealers this weekend. Peugeot RCZ R (2013) first official pictures

Forget the 208 GTi: the Peugeot RCZ R is the Peugeot’s new performance flagship. The range-topping RCZ boasts a record-breaking 270bhp, and will hit 62mph in under 6sec. Peugeot expect UK models to cost over £30,000 when the RCZ R goes on sale here in the first quarter of 2014.

Volvo S60 Concept car (2008): first official photos

Some have criticised the S60 for looking too similar to the S80 and other Volvos and this new model is designed to address that. Volvo is seeking a racier image and, we hear, is setting its sights on the Audi A4 and BMW 3-series (a task its predecessor never cracked).
