First generation Stratus from Sporty's Pilot Shop. I have owned this unit since new 4 years ago, and it still works great. I am upgrading to the newer model. This Stratus provides excellent weather display and the battery stays up for about 8 hours before it needs to be recharged. If you don't have radar in your plane and need some sort of weather display, this is the most economical way to obtain it. This Stratus cost about $800 when new and it still works great. Volvo V40 Cross Country: 'all-road' performance The V40 Cross Country comes in front- or all-wheel drive formats, topped by the 2.5-litre T5 that’ll churn out 250bhp and pass 0-60mph in six seconds. A 40mm ride height increase is likely to limit on-road performance, but should come in handy should you need to traverse any troublesome countryside on the school run.
GM shifts gears, will keep Opel
Tue, 03 Nov 2009General Motors' board of directors has decided that it will keep the Opel business and restructure it, putting an end to plans to sell the European operations to auto supplier Magna International. GM said it expects the restructuring of Opel to cost $4.42 billion (3 million euros), which it says is lower than the costs associated with outside bids for the company. GM said it will soon present its restructuring plans for Opel to the German government and other governments in Europe.
