:

USED- set of SS-350 emblems for the door trim/rubber side molding strip.

- 350 painted red to match the painted SS part.  You can buy these, but the 350 is silver, not red, like on the original 454SS trucks.

- Has tabs on back to push into molding strips.

- @ 9.5" long.

Was going to use on a Chevrolet Sport pickup, and make it an SS-350, but decided against it since the truck needs more work than emblems.

Shipping is $8 to US48 only.

SEAT Ibiza ECOMOTIVE does 100mpg

Mon, 04 May 2009

Gerhard Plattner achieved almost 100mpg in a SEAT Ibiza ECOMOTIVE But when press release came in from SEAT this afternoon telling us that a SEAT Ibiza ECOMOTIVE has just achieved a run, on real roads from Barcelona to Germany, of 1,562km and used just 45.53 litres of fuel, we had to get our calculators out (we’re so old now we can only see the reality of the achievement in mpg!). By our reckoning the Ibiza managed just a shade under 100mpg. Astonishing.

Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo sedan and wagon debut at Frankfurt motor show

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

Leave it to BMW's most pinstripe-stickered tuner to come up with a car just for automotive journalists. That's right: Alpina has built a diesel BMW 3-series sedan and wagon duo and has taken them to the Frankfurt motor show to taunt scribes whose countries will probably not be getting them, and that likely includes the U.S. Even though the D3 Bi-Turbo is diesel powered, fuel economy was not the first thing on Alpina's mind.

Two LaFerraris test at Fiorano Circuit

Tue, 17 Sep 2013

We don't need to say much about this video of two Ferrari LaFerraris testing at the Fiorano Circuit in Italy --caught by spy videographer extraordinaire Marchettino --except for “turn it up to 11.” In fact, we recommend you use a headphone-to-RCA converter and plug it in to the loudest stereo you have. That's the only way you can truly appreciate the Italian-opera wail coming from the 963 hp, 6.3-liter V12 as it boogies around the 1.8-mile, 12-turn test track. Marchettino said the camouflaged car must have a different exhaust because it sounded so much louder.
