The Toyota FT-86 leaks again - this time the standard model After what seems like years of waiting for Toyota’s sporty and ‘affordable’ sports car – the Toyota FT-86 – to arrive, information is coming thick and fast as the official debut looms at the Toyota Motor Show in a month’s time. Peugeot 2008 Compact Crossover SUV at Paris 2012

Peugeot are taking the 2008 Compact Crossover to the Paris Motor Show previewing the forthcoming small SUV based on the 208. Peugeot may have suffered the ignominy of being dumped from France’s elite stock market listings, but that isn’t going to stop the French car maker making something of a show on their home turf at the Paris Motor Show this month. We’ve already confirmed that Peugeot are taking the production versions of the new 208 GTi and 208 XY to Paris, and they are also taking the hybrid supercar Peugeot Onyx Concept.

The next McLaren supercar will be called the 650S

We've known that McLaren has a pair of additional models in the works, including a Porsche 911-fighting, 12C-based sports car known only as the P13 and another car positioned between the 12C and the P1. Previously, we'd heard the code name “P15” tossed around in reference to that latter car, but McLaren has officially christened it the 650S ahead of its world debut at the upcoming Geneva motor show. According to the automaker, the 650S “takes learnings from both the 12C as well as the sell-out McLaren P1 [ed note: there has to be a better way to say that] and will be positioned between the two on McLaren Automotive's supercar grid.“ We liked the 12C, and we really, really liked the P1.
