Le Quément is one of those designers who’s achieved stellar recognition over the past two decades – matching the reputation of Chris Bangle and J Mays as a member of the design A-list, that exclusive club who’ve helped shape the modern motor car as we know it today.

Thu, 21 Aug 2008The retirement of seasoned Chrysler designer Trevor Creed has opened the doors for Ralph Gilles, who has been appointed Vice President of Design starting September 1 this year. In his new position, Gilles will be responsible for all activities of Chrysler's Product Design Office and will report to Frank O. Klegon, Executive Vice President of Product Development.

But that wasn’t the point of the story at all. We love the look of the Jaguar XE to be – just as we love Jaguar’s entire current range – but we did wonder out loud if Jaguar had been a bit timid with the C-X16.
