Stainless Steel Allen Head Hardware For Norton Timing Cover on 2040-parts.com
Saint Cloud, Minnesota, US
I had to do some research and hunting to get the right hardware for a Norton project I was working on. I figured some other people might want to save the leg work of hunting down the right hardware so I put together a few extra sets when I got what I needed for my project. The kits seem to be popular so I have continued making them up. I included a picture of the hardware installed in the project I was working on so you would be able to see what it looks in place. The listing is for the timing cover hardware only. The bike I installed this on was a 1972 750 Commando. It looks to me that it will fit most Norton engines 1967-1975. Model years are from internet research, this part has only been test fitted to a 1972 model, at this point I have sold about 12 of these kits and I haven't had any reports of fitment issues. If it does not fit a Cammando motor of a year I specified please let me know and I will give a refund for the returned item. If you have a model not listed and it turns out to fit that it would be great if you would let me know that also.

Ford future products: New vehicles get lighter, faster and move upscale
Mon, 29 Aug 2011Ford Motor Co.'s future-product focus is on improved fuel economy by making its vehicles smaller and engines lighter without sacrificing performance, safety or luxury. It also wants to push the Ford brand more upscale to capture customers orphaned by the shutdown of the Mercury brand, and to attract new buyers with more product offerings. Ford has said 90 percent of its North American nameplates will be available with direct-injection turbocharged EcoBoost engines as standard equipment or as an option by 2013.
Lotus named lead marque for Goodwood
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Lotus will take a place of pride as lead marque at June's Goodwood Festival of Speed, backed by an expected record attendance of more than 40 historic racing Lotus models. “Lotus is an incredibly important British car marque, and we plan to have maybe the greatest concentration of a single marque that we've ever had at the festival,” said Lord March, whose Goodwood historic house provides the backdrop for the four-day event beginning on June 28. Emerson Fittipaldi will be reunited with his championship-winning Lotus 72 and an early Lotus 7 race car, a type that many drivers--including British Le Mans legend Derek Bell--cut their teeth on in their formative years.
Audi A4 top of the heap in Germany
Mon, 19 Jan 2009The Germans love a premium saloon car, and make some of the finest there are. BMW, Mercedes and Audi all have a fine range of premium cars, but it’s BMW who have taken the bulk of the sales with the 3 Series. But not any more.
