Brawn GP Virgin deal confirmed

[ad#ad-1] According to Sports Pro Magazine, the Virgin deal to sponsor Brawn GP has been confirmed for the rest of 2009 on a race by race basis, but in 2010 Virgin will be stumping up for a full year of sponsorship. BMW 'Dwelling Lab' project

One of the most interesting pieces of work shown at the recent Milan Design Week was 'The Dwelling Lab', collaboration between BMW, Flos Lighting and Kvadrat fabrics. Artists Patricia Urquiola and Guilio Ridolfo were commissioned to effectively turn a BMW 5 Series GT inside out. The car is 'exploded' - with five giant cone-like structures growing out of the windscreen, door openings etc.

Jaguar's E-Type sculpture unveiled at Goodwood

As is tradition at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, organizer, Lord March has commissioned a dazzling art piece to dominate the skyline above this year's event. Two years ago, Audi showcased a 1937 Auto Union Streamliner and a R8 V10 as part of its display, whilst last year Alfa Romeo displayed an 8C honouring the brand's centenary. This year it's Jaguar's turn to that take pride of place in front of Goodwood house.
