Hood Protectors have been around for a long time. In the beginning they were just tall flat pieces of plexiglas attached to the front end of a vehicle. Effective, but not much to look at! Now days we have a much better understanding of aerodynamics and know that taller isn't necessarily better, it's the shape that matters. The hood protectors we make are designed to compliment the look of the vehicle while still providing maximum protection. Stampede Chrome Hood Protectors are a natural extension of chrome trim and blend perfectly into the vehicles appearance. Our Hood Protectors go through the same wet electroplating chroming process as the manufacturers trim pieces to ensure a smooth and durable mirror like finish.

First Fiat 500s will have stick shifts

Mon, 17 Jan 2011

The 2012 Fiat 500 , heading to U.S. dealerships later than first expected, is enduring another hiccup: The first units arriving in dealerships in late February will have manual transmissions, the company said. Moreover, only about 20 percent of the 130 Fiat dealerships will be open when those first cars arrive, said Laura Soave, head of the Fiat brand in North America, at the Detroit auto show last week.
