This is a bug shield that was on a truck when I bought it. It seems like it is nearly brand new. There are some very minor scratches on the end where the stars are, and the back side is slightly dirty, like these things get. I haven't seen the actual Stampede logo on it, but it looks identical to the 3314 listed which costs about $136 new on amazon. It's just not my style, and I figured somebody else might want it. Buyer is responsible for verifying that it will fit your truck. Shipping will be via UPS or FedEx and tracking will be provided.

As the world recovered from a depression and then a war, these vehicles pointed to a better future that many people believed in, including the people who produced them. And, although many of the concept cars of the 50s, with their Jetsons plexiglass roofs and notional nuclear powered engines seem ludicrous now, in their time they weren’t that cynical.

It sounds a lot, but in terms of worldwide car sales it’s a drop in the ocean. Still, it’s an important milestone nonetheless.

Sun, 13 Feb 2011The Porsche Panamera Hybrid (click for bigger image) We’ve got to say, the news that the Porsche Panamera Hybrid (strictly speaking, the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid) is going to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in a couple of weeks time isn’t exactly a shock. After all, Porsche has made no secret of its plans to stick Hybrid gubbins in the Panamera; CO2 targets, and all that guff. But Porsche seems to think it is a surprise (unless they really have a surprise and are planning on revealing another Porsche hybrid altogether much sooner than we expected) as the press release we got in from Porsche has the enigmatic little tease of a headline – ‘Porsche: Hybrid world premiere’.
