Fuchsia pink-detailed Citroen DS3 announced

CITROEN has revealed a new special edition DS3 designed for people whose taste in cars could be compared to Barbie’s. The DS3 Pink will come in two trim levels, each of which will have two engine options, but both grades will share a fuchsia pink roof, door mirrors and wheel centre caps. On the inside there’s a fuchsia dashboard and a matching gear lever knob.

Button blasts noise detractors

JENSON BUTTON has delivered a damning response to any Formula One driver bemoaning the sport's current lack of noise. The piercing scream of the old 2.4-litre V8 engines has been replaced by the more textural sound of the new 1.6-litre V6 turbo-charged power units, and it has caused a considerable furore. Bugatti Galibier 'will be a hybrid' - Wolfgang Durheimer

Bugatti 'will continue to produce the worlds fastest car' Bugatti will launch the 16C Galibier limousine shown in 2009 as a concept car, the new president and CEO Wolfgang Durheimer has confirmed to CAR. The Galibier will eventually be part of a two-strong Bugatti range, meaning there's life in the hypercar brand post-Veyron. In a wide-ranging interview in the new May 2011 issue of CAR Magazine, Durheimer revealed that the Galibier would carry over the Veyron's monstrous W16 engine and transmission, but that Bugatti is developing a hybrid option to make sure its big limo retains social acceptability.
