Mini Vision concept: what does it say about the brand's future?
Thu, 01 Aug 2013The sight of Mini design head Anders Warming presenting a holographic, 3D projection of the Mini Vision concept as if appearing in his own cartoon was certainly a new one on us, but it captured the quirky, slightly left-field image the subsidiary of BMW Group has cultivated since its relaunch 13 years ago. As the 'Vision' tag suggests, this is billed as a marker of intent for the brand's future design direction rather than a pre-production teaser of the new Mini hatchback (Cooper in most markets) we'll see later this year. However if the third-generation 'new' Mini doesn't look remarkably similar we'd be amazed, such is the level of productionized detailing on this purely digital model.

Fri, 06 Apr 20121957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider RM Auctions has added a rare 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider to its list of desirable Ferraris offered at May’s Monaco auction. RM Auction’s Monaco sale takes place the same weekend as the Monaco Grand Prix in May, and we’re starting to wonder which will be the biggest attraction after RM revealed a new addition to their list of ultra rare and desirable Ferraris up for auction at their event. The 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider – chassis #0680 MDTR – is the rarest of all TRs made and is one of just two factory-built TRCs.

Mon, 21 Sep 2009SEAT IBX Concept - next year's SEAT Ibiza Sport Tourer SEAT does love a concept – especially a nice Blue one with a cream coloured interior – and they didn’t disappoint at Frankfurt. Take the badges and a bit of the detail off the IBZ and you could easily have been looking at an Alfa. And when it looks this good how did we miss it?
