This is the new Nissan Note, due to arrive in the UK in 2013. Nissan chiefs are quick to point out that the car shown here is the Japanese market version, and that the car offered to European buyers next year will have design tweaks inside and out, and a different dynamic set-up. BARONS' RECENT annual 'Jaguar Heritage Sale' celebrated all models of the much-loved marque but the E-type, in its 50th anniversary year really stole the show. The car had bidders and vendors purring with pleasure and nine of these stunning cars were on offer and all of them sold. Of the four examples offered, not one sold for less than £31,000 and the chart topper – a magnificent, bright red 1972 machine achieved over £39,000.

McLaren P1 Nurburgring record time is…a fiction for designers inspiration

The source for the story was an image taken from a Chinese website showing the McLaren logo and a time board showing the P1 as having done a lap of the Nurburgring in 6:33s. The image was real, but the story wasn’t. It seems the image was part of a ‘Mood Board’ McLaren put together when they were designing the P1 to inspire their designers with what could be possible, and that’s found its way on to the Interwebs in China.
