Renault Captur concept car (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

It’s a compact SUV akin to alliance partner Nissan’s Juke – and the Renault Captur will be the French brand’s star at the 2011 Geneva motor show in March. It’s certainly a welcome look at a clean-sheet proposal for an SUV.

That’ll do – we’ve only got 50 of each with that left-over paint to flog.’ And so we get treated to a Limited Edition of just 50 cars each of the Twingo Renaultsport 133 ‘Silverstone GP’ Limited Edition and the Clio Renaultsport 200 ‘Silverstone GP’ Limited Edition.
Aston Martin Virage dropped – to be replaced by new DB9
Thu, 30 Aug 2012Less than eighteen months since it debuted – and after just over 1,000 cars – Aston Martin is dropping the Virage. The Aston Martin Virage always seemed a bit of a stretch too far for Aston Martin, and so it has proved. After a lifespan of no more than eighteen months – and with just over 1000 cars built – Aston Martin has decided that there are just too few buyers who feel the Virage is enough of a step up from the DB9 to warrant the extra cost.
