EyesOn Design Awards 2010
Wed, 27 Jan 2010Outstanding achievement in automotive design was recognized at the fifth annual EyesOn Design Awards held at the 2010 NAIAS in Detroit in January. Top honors were awarded to the GMC Granite urban utility vehicle in the Best Concept Vehicle category, and the Audi A8 luxury sedan for Best Production Vehicle. Frank Saucedo, Director of GM Design's California studio, and Clay Dean, Executive Director GM Advanced Global Design, accepted the award for the GMC Granite Concept and acknowledged the importance of recognition from their design peers.

With a takeover as costly and complicated to fund as this one – all in all, VW will have to fork out a staggering €16 billion to absorb the latest family member – it is only logical that the new owner wants to get the restructuring process going asap. New Honda NSX Concept debuts at Detroit 2012
Mon, 09 Jan 2012The new Honda NSX Concept Honda has revealed the Honda NSX Concept (Acura NSX Concept for the US) in Detroit this evening, a lightweight, hybrid, mid-engined supercar. A replacement for the Honda NSX (or Acura NSX for the US) has been on and off for years. But we knew the new NSX Concept was coming to Detroit and we thought it would have a passing resemblance to the Tony Stark car in the New Avengers.
