2015 Hyundai Sonata shows off at the New York auto show
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Hyundai dished more details about its redesigned 2015 Hyundai Sonata at the New York auto show, including plans to introduce a “Sport” trim level for the U.S. market to compete with the Toyota Camry SE and Honda Accord Sport. “We were actually able to do quite a lot,” to differentiate the sporty Sonata version and a couple more variations, said John Shon, product planning manager for Hyundai Motor America.
Car production hits million mark
Thu, 24 Oct 2013A MILLION CARS have been produced so far this year in the UK, helped by a highly successful month in September. But manufacturing of commercial vehicles (CV) slumped more than 27%. A total of 140,888 cars were built in the UK in September 2013 - 9.9% more than in September last year, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said.

And it does offer a compelling package. Mitsubishi say the Outlander PHEV is the most practical vehicle qualifying for the UK’s £5,000 grant for low emission cars, and instead of charging really silly prices for their new plug-in hybrid Mitsubishi have pitched it so buyers pay no more at entry-level (after the grant) than they would for its diesel equivalent.
