Ford recalls trucks to fix fuel-tank straps
Mon, 01 Aug 2011Ford is recalling 1.1 million pickups to fix fuel-tank straps that can corrode and possibly break. The recall covers 1997-2003 Ford F-150s, F-250s and the Lincoln Blackwood pickup. The fuel-tank straps could corrode over time, leading to failure and the tank dropping to the pavement.
Walter de'Silva awarded medal for special services to Bavaria

Volkswagen's head of group design was told in a letter from the Bavarian state minister of Federal and European Affairs Emilia Müller that he had "changed the form language and design culture of Germany as a vehicle designer," going on to praise his "outstanding achievement with the world-class company Audi". Renault TwinRun hot hatch concept (2013) first official pictures
Fri, 24 May 2013Renault will show off this mid-engined supermini concept at the 2013 Monaco Grand prix race weekend. Called the TwinRun, the R5 Turbo-inspired creation is powered by a mid-mounted 3.5-litre V6, and will hit 155mph flat out. The TwinRun is the latest in a series of wacky Renault concept cars, following the Twizy RS F1 and Twin-Z supermini into the limelight.
