Citroën to unveil flagship model in Beijing
Tue, 20 Mar 2012Citroën has released two teaser images for a new luxury flagship model to be unveiled at the Beijing motor show next month, as part of its efforts to reposition the brand further upmarket with its DS model range. The car, which is to be the automaker's fourth and largest model in its DS range, appears to be a direct descendent of the Citroën Metropolis Concept, first seen at the Shanghai World Fair in 2010. Although it is unclear whether or not the model seen in the pictures will be the production version of the Metropolis, the two clearly share many design features.
Richard Petty honored in North Carolina with customized Dodge Challenger
Fri, 03 Jun 2011NASCAR legend and team owner Richard Petty took a break from his busy schedule on May 28 to host his inaugural Spring Fling Car Show at Petty's Garage in Level Cross, N.C., and to accept delivery of the Legacy Dodge Challenger. The car was created to pay tribute to the famous driver and promote vehicle-lift safety. The event was sponsored by the Automotive Lift Institute.

Sat, 22 Jun 2013Mercedes turn spy photographers for the baby SLS – the Mercedes SLC/GT It’s almost 4 years since we first revealed there were plans afoot at Mercedes-Benz to build a small, nimbler SLS to take on the Porsche 911 – a car subsequently dubbed the Mercedes SLC – but not until 2014. Well, 2014 is less than half a year away, Mercedes confirmed the SLC was in the mix and now we get a set of ‘spy’ photos of the SLC (or Mercedes GT, perhaps) – straight from Mercedes. It’s not the first time Mercedes has tried to put spy photographers out of business, as both the SLS had ‘official’ spy photos and video, as did the new Mercedes SLK.
