Team Lotus buys Caterham Cars - and a Team Lotus Special Edition Seven to celebrate Team Lotus – that’s the ‘Lotus’ F1 run by Tony Fernandes, not the Hethel mob run by Dany Bahar – has bought Caterham Cars from Corven Ventures for an undisclosed sum. Which is all very apposite, what with Caterham being the spiritual home of Colin Chapman’s Lotus Seven and keeper of the Chapman ethos of lighter is better. To tie Caterham back in to the Lotus name could work wonders for sales.

The Cadillac ATS is an all-new, lightweight, rear-wheel drive sedan that aims to take the fight to the dominant BMW 3-Series in the compact premium segment. The ATS gains the latest interpretation of Cadillac's ‘Art & Science' design language, building on the recent, bigger XTS' aesthetics. It looks like the sale of a chunk of Aston Martin is going to InvestIndustrial, promising Mercedes AMG technology for AML. Just last week, Aston Martin finally confirmed the the Kuwait Investment Dar was looking to off-load a chunk of its shareholding in AML. And now it looks like a deal is done.
