James Bond Museum to open in Keswick

But apparently, there is not a single one in the world – until now. Opening its doors tomorrow (5/4/09) in Keswick, in the heart of the Lake District, is the first museum in the world dedicated to James Bond.

It’s a 4.3m long show car that’s designed to inject some pizzazz where today’s Scenic prefers a more sober style. When you’re Ratan Tata, and you not only run one of the biggest conglomerates in the world but also the culturally British Jaguar Land Rover, the world tends to listen when you speak. So when Ratan Tata said in an interview last week with Autocar India that JLR were looking at setting up an assembly plant and press shop in Saudi Arabia, the car world woke up and declared ‘Jaguar Land Rover to build cars in the Middle East’.
