Such a move would be a blow to the 103-year-old Fiat-owned automaker that many speculated would play a greater role in Europe following its parent's decision earlier this year to take control of Chrysler.

This is the Audi Nanuk Quattro concept, unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show. It's a cross between Audi's R8 supercar and an SUV, and it's powered by a new twin-turbo V10 diesel engine.
