Standard # Sdn-1a Starter Drive (fits 70's-90's Chevy?) New In Box on 2040-parts.com
Aledo, Illinois, United States
This starter drive is an N.O.S. (new- old stock) item I picked up at a close-out garage auction. It was in a larger box with some other items I wanted. I don't need it so it is up for sale. It has some surface rust on the shaft, but this is cosmetic only, the gear slides smoothly, no problems. I tried to price it reasonably. I don't know exactly what vehicle it fits in, but I believe it fits Chevy's from the 70's into the 90's, Please check your application before committing to purchase it. The free shipping is in the continental U.S. only. Also, please check my other items. Thanks for your interest.

Holden VF Commodore Calais V Concept
Mon, 11 Feb 2013Holden has unveiled its new Calais V luxury sports concept, previewing the future design director of the carmaker's VF Commodore, which will be sold in the US as the Chevrolet SS. The halo car of GM's Australian arm is a clear evolution of the outgoing model, with an emphasis on greater percieved quality in order to appeal on a global scale. "You'll notice that the hood is more prominent, with a centre crease that emphasises performance potential and two raking spears sweeping in from the A-pillars," says Richard Ferlazzo Holden Chief Designer - Creative Design.
AutoWeek office swag: Mazda rotary-engine keychain with realistic motion
Fri, 20 May 2011When I got the keys to our long-term 2011 Mazda 5 last week, they came with a surprise--this aluminum-and-brass keychain in the shape of a rotary-engine housing, complete with moving rotor. The rotor doesn't just rattle around or spin in a circle. Thanks to a thumbwheel on the back of the housing, coupled with a timing gear and offset crank journal, the thing actually moves in an approximation of epitrochoidal motion just like a real Wankel.
The Manx makes it!
Tue, 20 May 2014After 1,300 miles, 96 hours, two engines, three transmissions, a busted exhaust, a bent shifter, a stuck throttle, countless bottles of water, much swearing and the looming threat of heat exhaustion, Bruce Meyers and the Meyers Manx Race Team buggy drove through the finish line at the town square of San Jose Del Cabo and completed the damn 2014 NORRA Mexican 1000 once and for all. Finally -- for Meyers' and the number 1964 buggy's first time -- they had successfully navigated the Baja Peninsula and finished under their own power. The poor Meyers Manx Dual Sport was looking worse for the wear when it streamed into town at 5:30 p.m.
