Howard Hughess Lincoln sells for $1 million at Tulsa auction
Thu, 18 Jun 2009A 1936 Lincoln Boat Tail Speedster--customized to the personal tastes of Howard Hughes--sold for $1 million at the Leake Car Show & Auction on June 13 in Tulsa, Okla. The head-turning blue and polished aluminum classic was the headliner at a sale that raked in $12.2 million and attracted more than 10,000 people to the three-day event. The Boat Tail is a truly unique car.
2013 Dodge Charger AWD offers Sport package, paddle shifters
Tue, 18 Dec 2012Dodge will offer a new Sport package for the all-wheel-drive 2013 Charger sedan. It will be available on all trims except the SRT8, costing $1,395 on the SXT and SXT Plus models and $1,195 on R/T and R/T Plus versions. The Sport package includes a gloss-black grille and surround, 19-inch polished aluminum wheels, all-season performance tires, body-color spoiler and sport seats.

Mon, 25 Nov 2013-- Here's yet another gem we first saw over at Hemmings: The first, and (so far as we know) only Antarctic hot rod ever built. It might be from 1968-'71; not much else is known, except that it was probably constructed by Navy SeaBees operating out of McMurdo Station. From the one photo we have, it looks like it could have a Jeep flathead four up front.
