Ssangyong are continuing their concept offensive with the e-XIV EV Concept, a range extender compact SUV. Mahindra seem intent on turning Ssangyong from the Lada of Korea in to another South Korean car maker to be taken seriously. Jeep Altitude models debut in spring

The Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler will feature Altitude trims for 2014, joining the Patriot and Compass. The special editions will arrive in showrooms this spring. The Altitude came to be through a contest Jeep held two years ago around the time of the Houston Auto Show.

Saleen announces new electric supercar

Californian tuner and sometimes supercar-builder Saleen has confirmed it is working on an all-new electric car, with plans to debut the new model in 2015.
