The second phase of the CDN-Opel/Vauxhall competition is specifically for the seven shortlisted students from the first phase. The Ferrari 458 Challenge It seems Ferrari had a bit of an issue when they decided they wanted to take the 458 Italia racing – it was just so good in standard form. So instead of giving the 458 Italia more power, they concentrated on making the 458 lighter and tighter to create the Ferrari 458 Challenge, unveiled this week in Bologna. The 458 Challenge gets exactly the same 562 horses out of its 4.5 litre V8 as the Italia.

McLaren announces markets for MP4-12C

McLaren announced 35 markets where it will sell the Formula-One-inspired MP4-12C on Friday, including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto. Ten markets in the North America will sell the ultra-light, high-performance sports car starting in the spring of 2011. Other global markets include London, Monaco, Paris, Frankfurt, Kuwait and Johannesburg.
