It is NOS (new old stock) and has been sitting in the tool room gathering dust for several years.
It is somewhat dusty and dirty and will need to be cleaned and flushed out before use
It also has some scratches and chips in the paint from being moved around in storage.

the 12" diameter flywheel/pulley and the right side pulley guard as shown in picture # 8
Parts NOT included in this auction include; (but not limited to...)
the machine base or stand that this riveter would normally bolt on top of,

the foot pedal that mounts inside the machine base, that when depressed, triggers the riveter mechanism's dog clutch to press/squeeze the  rivets,
the drive belt
the small inspection panel/cover that incloses the the machine mechanism at the bottom of picture #3 (easily made out of thin aluminum or steel sheet metal)
the various rivet dies that fit into this machine for the different sized rivets used (it accepts rivet dies with 1/2" diameter shanks)
If you do not see it included within these eight pictures it is NOT included with this auction!

50 Jaguar E-Types in convoy through London

Mon, 06 Jun 2011

The E-Type Convoy through London - in the rain This isn’t the first story we’ve run this year with ’50′ and Jaguar E-Type in the headline, and it’s a safe bet won’t be the last either. Unless you’ve been in Motoring purdah for the whole of 2011, you’ll know that this year is the 50th anniversary of the debut of the Jaguar E-Type at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961, and Jaguar are making the most of the anniversary at every step. But this time it’s not Jaguar who are making the most of the E-Type’s birthday, it’s the organisers of the 2011 Motorexpo in Canary Wharf, who’ve teamed up with the Jaguar’s Driving Club to drive fifty E-Types across London and out to Canary Wharf to kick of this year’s show.

CAR tech: who's to blame for your car's terrible fuel economy?

Mon, 12 Aug 2013

In early 2013 Audi lost a case brought by the Advertising Standard Agency (ASA) because of ‘misleading’ fuel economy figures used in an advert, after a customer complained they couldn’t get anywhere near the 68mpg quoted. The court case once more exposes the yawning gap between officially sanctioned mpg figures and those experienced by owners. A recent study by the Independent Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) looked at cars sold in the UK and Europe, and discovered the difference between official mpg figures and real-world driving had grown from 8% in 2001 to a barely believable 21% in 2011.

Mercedes E-class (2015) gets new nine-speed transmission

Thu, 31 Jul 2014

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 31 July 2014 12:45 If you thought car transmissions were racing to challenge mountain bikes, wait until you see the new 2015 model year Mercedes E-class. Daimler today confirmed the revised E-class will get the company’s nine-speed automatic transmission on the E350 Bluetec diesel. The Mercedes 9G-Tronic gearbox has an epically long top gear, all the better to reduce fuel consumption and emissions for E-class owners.
