We recently revealed the BMW are to partner with Toyota to deliver diesel engines for Toyota in Europe and to work on next generation lithium ion battery technology. £10 million cash boost for Lotus
Tue, 26 Nov 2013Business secretary Vince Cable has visited Lotus’ Norfolk headquarters today, where he announced the company would be awarded £10.44 million from the Regional Growth Fund. The money will be used for research and development of products, as well as staff training. The sports car company expects to create 313 full time jobs to support production over the coming years.

The new Honda CR-Z Mugen is a slightly more ecologically sound proposition than the banzai 2009 Civic Type R Mugen, and brings the race car treatment to Honda's hybrid coupe. However, at this stage it's a one-off prototype, with no firm commitment to build even a limited run.
