Jag GT3 racer hints at 500bhp XKR

But the big news is that its uprated V8 engine is bound for a roadgoing XKR, to propel Jaguar up the power league and into the realm of Merc's 510bhp SL55 AMG and BMW's 500bhp M6. Mini plans to set new world record for largest one-make parade
Wed, 10 Jul 2013Mini never shied away from setting records in the most dramatic way possible, and the company's next stunt hopes to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest parade of Minis. The rendezvous point for this record attempt will be the famous Mackinac Bridge in Michigan, where the official car count will take place. The organizers, Mini USA along with Mini of Grand Rapids, are hoping that at least 1,451 Minis will show up, to beat the previous record of 1,450.

Mon, 12 Jan 2009Hoping to attract younger buyers, Ford's Lincoln division unveiled the Lincoln C concept at the Detroit Auto Show this week, a car Lincoln calls a big idea for a small luxury car. Ford's vision: a small, more fuel-efficient car for congested urban areas and compact parking spaces that still provides driver and passengers with luxury and comfort of larger sedans. "Modern luxury buyers who live and work in large, urban areas want to play their part in helping the environment by moving to a smaller vehicle, but they still want to enjoy the luxuries of life," said Peter Horbury, executive director of Design, The Americas.
