Product Description
SLP pipes offer increased efficiency, more torque and horsepower with a wider powerband. SLPs ERA 2007 Silencing Technology features advanced silencing technology while still providing great weight savings and a rich, full sound. Models equipped with this latest technology still sound like a snowmobile should, but the level of sound output is lower than previously experienced with our ERA 2000 products. Famous for superb fit and finish for easy installation. For the highest level of performance, contact Starting Line Products for their recommended tuning and clutching parts. All carbureted models require clutching and jetting changes. EFI models require clutching changes, and, in some cases, a fuel control module. This system has been tested and passed SAE J-2567 stationary sound test below 88 decibels. SLP High Flow Air Intake recommended. Clutching changes required.

ONE IN FIVE drivers from the UK risks being fined when travelling in Europe due to not carrying the correct travel kit. Laws in Europe vary between countries but most demand every car has a warning triangle in case of a breakdown. In a survey by the AA, it found a third (37%) of British drivers did not know they needed to carry a high visibility jacket to comply with French law.

A VERY special Volkswagen Beetle has hit the coastal roads of northern Germany, and it might just arrive in showrooms soon, too. The new Beetle Dune concept captures a little of the spirit of the classic version, with 50mm of extra ride height, big, bold wheels and a rear-mounted ski rack. It looks stunning on the move, where its broad-spoked 19-inch wheels look almost like solid discs of polished metal and the ski rack has the visual effect of an old-school Porsche 911-esque spoiler.

It's suicide time for Vauxhall's mini-MPV. This sneak preview of the Meriva concept to be unveiled at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show reveals suicide-style rear doors that will be a production certainty for the next-gen Meriva. The mini-MPV will retain its B-pillar so that structural integrity is maintained and so the rear doors can be opened independently of the front ones.'The rear-hinged doors are both lighter and less expensive to engineer than sliding doors,' said Sara Nicholson, GM's European product manager for compact cars.
