It’s hard to believe now, but until Rolls Royce launched the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo in 1982 Bentleys were nothing more than re-badged Rolls Royces and accounted for an insignificant 5 per cent of Rolls Royce sales. But the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo changed all that and put Bentley on the road to success with the first ’Blower’ Bentley in half a century.

The new Alto will be unveiled at the Paris motor show this autumn and promises to be both clean and frugal. And if the Swift is anything to go by the Suzuki Alto should be a cracking drive too, plus prices should start at under £7k when the it goes on sale in early 2009.

Peugeot 107 facelift (2012) first official pictures

Peugeot has shown its newly facelifted 107 city car at the Brussels motor show. It's the first major change to the Franco-Japanese city triplets. The 107 was jointly developed with Toyota and Citroen and it remains a big seller in the fast-rising city car sector.
