NASCAR legend and team owner Richard Petty took a break from his busy schedule on May 28 to host his inaugural Spring Fling Car Show at Petty's Garage in Level Cross, N.C., and to accept delivery of the Legacy Dodge Challenger. The car was created to pay tribute to the famous driver and promote vehicle-lift safety. The event was sponsored by the Automotive Lift Institute.

The Kia Provo Concept is heading to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and looks to be half butch urban warrior and half coupe. With the 2013 Geneva Motor Show looming we’re going to see plenty of reveals and leaks of new cars, concept cars and refreshed cars. Kia’s offering today comes in the ‘Concept’ category, but we hope it ends up in the ‘New Car’ category before long.

Bugatti Atalante sells for £3 Million

Back at the turn of the new year, we brought you news of a Bugatti Type 57S Atalante that had been found in a barn in the North East, after the death of its owner, a Dr Harold Carr. We speculated on its price, for which estimates varied hugely, with some reports suggesting that a price up near £7 million was likely. We plumped for £3,000,000 and, probably more by luck than judgement, we were bang on the nail!
