Steeda Mustang Adjustable Clutch Cable
Part Number: 172-0201

This product fits the following vehicles
All Mustang Models from 1996 to 2004

All Steeda clutch cables features a stainless steel inner cable and low friction Teflon lining, along with a high-durometer bushing at the firewall for improved clutch response and cable life. This bushing is much more durable and will not prematurely split and fail like lesser bushings.
Steeda is the only company with these features, making this the finest quality clutch cable you can get for your Mustang.

Steeda's stainless steel cable will not allow the cable to rust through and is more durable, unlike all other cables on the market that are made from lesser quality galvanized steel.

Clutch adjustment can be adjusted by turning a nut at the end of the cable when the cable is used in combination with the required Steeda’s aluminum quadrant.

PN 172-0201 is the correct length and has the proper bracket for direct bolt-in replacement in any '96-'04 GT, Bullitt, or Cobra.
PN 172-0301 is a non-adjustable, stock-replacement cable.

Please Note: All cables shown require an aftermartket quadrant, like Steeda's Double Hook Quadrant!

Product Benefits
High durability
Improved clutch response and cable life
Stainless steel cable will not rust through

New McLaren F1 on the way

Wed, 01 Apr 2009

It has been revealed that McLaren is planning a new version of the McLaren F1 (above). When Ron Dennis announced he was giving up running the McLaren F1 team, he said it was exactly the opposite of retirement. In fact, he said he’d be busier than ever.

Red Bull X1 supercar (2010): the full technical spec

Thu, 28 Oct 2010

If god is in the detail, then this is surely quite heavenly: the full tech spec of the Red Bull X1. The X1 is the hypercar designed with the help of the Red Bull F1 team - and will star in the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 5 Playstation 3 game. The Red Bull X1 is exclusively revealed in the November 2010 issue of CAR, out now. Adrian Newey, designer of Red Bull's extremely fast but unreliable RB6, designed the X1 in conjunction with Kazanori Yamauchi, the brains behind the Gran Turismo computer games.

Teen driver safety: The GDL Kickback

Thu, 16 Sep 2010

News that fewer teenagers are getting driver's licenses has been greeted with consternation in some corners, but it couldn't make the insurance industry happier. There are lies, damned lies and statistics--and sometimes legitimate, measurable trends. While some experts have quibbled about how some states report their information, no one argues the basic point: More teenagers are forgoing a driver's license longer than at any time in at least 20 years.
