Steel Saddles for Air Over Hydraulic Pro  Lifting Jack BBC Drag Racing Pro Mod Radial Tire

Our Steel saddles can be used with our Air Over Hydraulic Pro Lifting Jacks. They can easily slide into the ends of the T-bar for added support of your race car.

With the use of this professional jack system, raising and lowering your car becomes a simple task. After the car has been lifted and the safeties are in place, you have a solidly supported work station, much like supporting the car with individual jack stands. Our E-Z to use Race Jack System will slide under the lowest of chassis needing just under 3” of ride height. We have an optional one-way adjustable flow control valve that makes it possible to lower the car at a desired rate. The system utilizes an air-over-hydraulic pump, heavy duty hoses and couplings on both ends. The lifting height is 19” and is capable of lifting up to 3400 LBS. The Race Jacks come with standard frame lifting tabs for the front and rear. Other style tabs are available at an additional cost. Extension push bar is available. All our Jacks come powder coated at no extra cost. Frame rail center to center width and the weight of the car is required when ordering. Overall length of the Race Jacks are 44”, width 20". Race Jacks are custom designed for each individual car and are therefor a non-returnable item. Race Jacks are in stock and can ship within one to two days depending on time of order and options. Please call for a shipping quote. Free Shipping is not included and is non-refundable. We also have the option for the race jacks to be all Chromalloy. If an air over hydraulic pump won't work for you then take a look at our electric 110 volt pump. This is a 680.00 option.

All Our Race Jacks Come Powder Coated.

Driven: Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Wed, 11 Jun 2008

Just over 25 years ago, in November 1982, Mercedes Chief Designer Bruno Sacco introduced his new 'baby' 190, codenamed W201. Billed as the new compact Mercedes, it was a successful model that lasted a full ten years until being replaced by the first C-Class (W202). This model – the first with the triangular tail lamps – lasted until 2000 when it was replaced by the W203, a more softly-styled update of the W202 model, with the 'peanut-shaped' linked double headlamps.

Gumpert tease new car. A new Apollo with Tornante looks, perhaps?

Fri, 25 Nov 2011

Gumpert tease new car We have quite a soft spot for the creations of ex-Audi man Roland Gumpert. The only real drawback with Gumpert’s cars has been their looks. Challenging perhaps best describes the Gumpert Apollo in its various iterations.

Get up close and personal with the David Brown Automotive Speedback

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

The David Brown Automotive Speedback is certainly one of the more intriguing coachbuilt cars we've seen recently -- all the more so because it's a product of Britain, not the carrozzeria hub of Italy. We just got our first glimpse of the Speedback yesterday, and thanks to this XCar video, we can dive a bit deeper into the car's origins and its many design details (unfortunately, there's no on-road footage yet). The Speedback, in the words of DBA founder David Brown, seeks to combine the “classic simplicity of the '60s underpinned by a modern platform with all of the functionality you'd expect from a modern car.” And it does so successfully, from what we can tell so far.
