A slim, cig-lighter style TPMS for 4WD, passenger vehicles, some motorhomes and mini buses.

The Steelmate TP-77 is a DIY TPMS that allows the driver to monitor up to 4 tyres in real time using an easy-to-see LCD display. It also comes with a USB slot which allows drivers to charge their phones or use other electronics equipment.

The system can monitor tyre pressure from as low as 10 PSI, which is perfect for 4WDers. It can monitor up to 75 PSI, which is also appealing to some drivers of maxi taxis, cars, motorhomes and mini buses etc.

The system monitors both pressure and temperature, and will alert the driver of leaks, punctures or over-heating (over 80 °C/176°F) and low battery etc. In addition, the alarm threshold of pressure can be set and adjusted by the driver.

Installation is a breeze – Simply plug the LCD into any 12v power socket. Screw the pressure sensors onto the wheel valves, replacing the valve caps. The sensors are pre-configured and labeled, and you are ready to go..

OFFICIAL: 2014 BMW 2 Series The new BMW 2 Series has been leaking like a sieve for the last week or so, so BMW must be relieved it’s now official and out in the open. Much of the detail we’ve already reported is confirmed with the official reveal, and we already know what the 2 Series looks like thanks to the official photos leaking yesterday, , but now we know which models are going to be rolling in to BMW’s UK showrooms in early 2014. There will be three 2-Series models available at launch – the 220i, 220d and M235i – which will cost £25,040, £25,868 and £34,250 respectively, with a choice of four trim levels - SE, Sport Modern and M Sport.

Hyundai teases new HCD-14 concept (2013)

Hyundai is no stranger to the coupé market and it plans to unveil another at the 2013 Detroit motor show next week - in the shape of the HCD-14.  No information regarding performance or pricing has been released yet, aside from a single teaser image, but a Mercedes CLS-type swooshing rear end won’t get any complaints from us.
