Fiat 500 First Edition arrives in China
Sun, 17 Jul 2011Fiat 500 First Edition launches the 500 in China The next stage of Fiat’s quest to make the Fiat 500 the world’s favourite retro-cute car hit the world’s biggest market this week. Yep, China got its first Fiat 500s. Now Fiat appears to have made the 500 the current car of choice for the urban trendy American car buyer (a friend in Los Angeles claims they’re proliferating in the trendy areas just like MINI did in London in the early days) it’s time to turn their attention to China, a market with far more potential.
Lamborghini Jota spied testing
Fri, 15 Jan 2010The Lamborghini Jota caught cold weather testing (via WCF - copyright CarPix) The Murcielago range of Lamborghinis is coming to the end of their shelf life and we have in store the replacement – The Lamborghini Jota - which will be with us in the next year or so. So it’s not a big surprise that Lamborghini have been out testing the new Jota in the Arctic Circle. As we can see from the spy shots, the Jota is going to be similar in size to the Murcielago (which is far too wide for comfort around town) but thanks to a new aluminium space frame will be an awful lot lighter than the Murcielago.
Nissan Juke: New Photos
Sat, 29 May 2010New photo gallery of the Nissan Juke below The push to get Nissan’s compact crossover – the Nissan Juke – in to car buyers’ sights will be ramping up over the coming months as Nissan tries to make the Juke as big a surprise success as its big brother – the Nissan Qashqai. The Qashqai almost single handed created a new niche, and the Nissan Juke looks to us as if it has every chance of doing the same. To our surprise – when we published the UK prices for the Nissan Juke this week – we discovered that the starting price was coming in at less than £13k, pitching the Juke against cars like the Ford Fiesta and VW Polo.
