Car Design Awards China 2015 competition now open

Design students in China are invited to respond to one of the challenging briefs set by carmakers including GAC, Volvo, VW, Qoros, JAC and Geely. This is the sixth time the annual design competition has been held, and students have until 2 January 2015 to submit their work.
There's a 2015 Ford Mustang convertible on the way, too
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Almost immediately after the Ford Mustang debuted, buyers could choose from three body styles -- a hardtop, a rag-top convertible and a fastback (which actually came out a few months later than the hardtop and convertible). We already knew that the 2015 Mustang will arrive as a fastback (sorry, notchback partisans), but Ford has just announced that a drop-top version is also in the works. Pictures of the convertible sport a shiny "5.0" badge on the side and and chrome "GT" badge on the back, but we assume all the standard engines -- the 5.0-liter V8, 3.7-liter V6 and that new 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo-four -- will be offered.

Tue, 21 Jan 2014The Nissan GT-R is back for 2015, as if there was ever any doubt. Again this year, the company claims a recalibrated suspension that will give a more “sophisticated” ride and better road-holding. The 2015 Nissan GT-R Premium will cost $103,365, including destination.
