Wed, 22 Sep 2010Audi S7 caught out playing We got the launch of the Audi A7 in July and here we are – just a couple of months on – expecting the Audi S7 to surface at the Paris Motor Show next week. And just in time we’ve got a spy shot of the hot S7 out playing and looking pretty much production-ready; as it should if it’s going to bow in next week. It seems clear this is not an A7 with an S-Line pack as it’s sporting a pair of twin exhausts out back which, as far as we can recall, don’t appear on any A7.

Fri, 20 Mar 2009By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 20 March 2009 16:11 The 2009 Festival of Speed – held this year over the weekend of 3-5 July – will honour motorsport’s endurance heroes with a celebration of Le Mans’ 60th anniversary. ‘The Festival will pay tribute to the men who fought against the odds on the track and won,’ Lord March told CAR Online. ‘With drivers like Jochen Mass, Jacky Ickx, Jackie Stewart and Sterling Moss joining us – drivers that went the extra mile in the pursuit of victory – I’m really looking forward to seeing some of the great endurance drivers, riders and machines in action.’ The Festival will also take in a number of other important anniversaries – both Audi and Morgan will be celebrating their centenaries, the Mini will turn 50, and it will mark 40 years of Frank Williams’ involvement in Formula 1.
SCCA, IMSA champion joins Survive the Drive
Tue, 06 Dec 2011Bob Sharp, SCCA and IMSA GTU champion, has joined the board of directors of Survive the Drive, an organization aimed at educating teen drivers about auto safety and crash prevention. Sharp joins Sam Posey and John Fitch as representatives from the motorsports world. Survive the Drive began in 1997 in northwestern Connecticut with Skip Barber Driving School instructor Bob Green.
