Holidaymakers warned against bogus hire car

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

AHEAD OF THE busy holiday period a warning has been issued to those travelling abroad to look out for car hire rental scams. The industry body British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association has advised customers to be wary of 'too good to be true' offers over the Christmas period, including very low rates and nationwide availability right up to Christmas Day. Finally -- for Meyers' and the number 1964 buggy's first time -- they had successfully navigated the Baja Peninsula and finished under their own power. The poor Meyers Manx Dual Sport was looking worse for the wear when it streamed into town at 5:30 p.m.

Mercury, a brand founded by company scion Edsel Ford, will be shuttered as Ford concentrates its efforts on the core Ford brand and luxury-level Lincolns.
