Hyundai recalls Santa Fe, Veracruz for airbag fix
Fri, 16 Sep 2011Hyundai is recalling 205,233 copies of the 2007-2008 Santa Fe and Veracruz because of an issue with the airbags. Hyundai has received about 7,800 warranty claims as a result of airbag defects in these vehicles, though the carmaker said it is not aware of any related accidents or injuries. Electrical parts used to deploy the airbags may conduct current improperly, causing them to malfunction during a crash.

And they’re back with two new MSO specials for this month’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The most impressive of the two MSO cars is, of course, a special edition of the already very special McLaren P1.
Ultimate Street Car Association opens registration for 2014 season
Mon, 17 Feb 2014Back in November, the Ultimate Street Car Association was announced at SEMA as a national race series to oversee the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational and Qualifying. Registration is now open for the first event at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Those of you who picked up any tuner mag from the last six years will remember the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational, which played host to some incredible cars -- and demonstrated an overwhelming bias toward Camaros, it turns out.
