This ad is for a NEW steering wheel / steering column for a Citroen DS. This is one of the foam steering wheels as used on 1972-1975 cars like in the photo. I bought this from Western Hemispheres about 25 years ago and never used it. It has been in a closet ever since. Very hard to get one these days. DX441202A. Ford B-Max goes in to production
Mon, 25 Jun 2012The Ford B-Max – Ford’s long overdue replacement for the Fusion – has gone in to production in Romania before going on sale in Europe in September. The Ford B-Max is the long-awaited replacement for the very ancient Ford Fusion which finally, a year on from the B-Max Concept - arrived at this year’s Geneva Motor Show in production guise. Thankfully – because the B-Max concept as so convincing – Ford has managed to deliver a production B-Max that carries over almost all the features of the concept with just a few minor things – like more sensible wheels and proper door handles – marking the production B-Max out from the concept.

Johnny was taking the Tiguan off to a sheep farm to play around; Eric was off to Silverstone to have a bash on the track and the skid-pan and Harriet was off on a mystery tour round Oxford (which as we said at the time was no easy thing). Well, the winner’s been announced this morning and it’s Harriet, who wins a nice shiny VW Tiguan for her efforts.

And if how it looks is anything to go by Jaguar will have another big success on its hands, to go along with the XF. Although based on the existing XJ’s lightweight chassis (nothing wrong with that) but with a back end which is very much derived from the XF, the car is totally re-skinned, and looks finally how a modern Jaguar luxury saloon should.
