CAR Most Wanted of 2014: Land Rover Freelander

It’s now Land Rover’s turn for a high-tech new 4x4 family, and it kicks off with the new Land Rover Freelander. Except, as CAR reported earlier in 2013, the Freelander replacement will bin that name – and, hopes Land Rover, the moniker’s poor reliability connotations.

2013 BMW M3 offered in Frozen Red, White and Blue

Hot on the heels of the BMW 6-series Frozen Silver Edition coupe, the company says it will build a Frozen Edition of the M3 in three all-American colors: red, white and blue. Last year the company produced Frozen black and Frozen silver versions of the hopped-up 3-series. The 420bhp, 4.2-litre V8-powered 911 rival will hit 188mph (or 301kph) and gets to 62mph in 4.6secs. The Lamborghini Gallardo-based supercar will cost an estimated £75,000 when it arrives in the UK in May, with the Audi R Tronic sequential manual costing an extra £5000.
