New Hydrogen Fuel Cell Toyota at Tokyo Motor Show. The next Prius?

Will the new Toyota Hydrogen Fuel Cell car be a Prius? (FCV-R pictured) We’re getting very close to the proper arrival of the hydrogen fuel cell car, moving from a vastly expensive idea to an (almost) affordable family car. Hyundai are up with the leaders in the hydrogen-powered production car race with the ix35 FCEV, and now it’s Toyota’s turn to show what they’ll be offering buyers in 2014 with a new hydrogen-powered car debuting at the Tokyo Motor Show next month.

Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV (2009) unveiled

The concept tag is obvious, but the PX part designates the show car as a plug-in hybrid crossover, and MiEV stands for Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle. Externally the PX-MiEV drops heavy hints towards the styling of the next Outlander, but Mitsubishi has pared back the design and purposely avoided adding the 'rugged'’ elements so common to SUVs.

Sensual video of the redone 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK is crawling the Interwebs, and it offers an in-depth look at this new retractable hardtop sports car. The promo film runs for nearly 10 minutes and showcases the Mercedes with clear shots inside and out. The video has an alluring French narrator, but thankfully, there are English subtitles which highlight some of the features.
